Ouddorp – On Saturday evening, a 19-year-old Polish girl was reported missing by her friend after they had been together on the beach of Ouddorp. After a search, the girl was found in the waterline of the beach in Ouddorp. Unfortunately, resuscitation was of no avail.
A 21-year-old Italian reported the missing of a girl with whom they had been on the beach on Saturday evening. The girls went to the beach around five o’clock on Saturday afternoon and consumed alcohol on the beach. The 21-year-old girl woke up later that evening on the beach without her friend. She ran to the road where she called for help.
After a search on the beach, the girlfriend, a 19-year-old girl from Poland, was found. The man who found her immediately called 911 and started CPR. This has been taken over by the emergency services. The girl was taken to hospital by helicopter, but unfortunately died there.
The police are investigating the cause. From the initial findings, including those of the FARR doctor, there seems to be no question of a crime. It is very likely that the girl drowned.
