The islands of Corsica and Sardinia are on the program in a new series We’re Almost There!. Broadcaster MAX presenter Martine van Os is packing her bags for the twelfth time for a new group camping trip.
When Martine van Os meets the group of travelers for the travel program ‘We Are There Almost’, she immediately thinks: ha, that’s a nice story? Martine laughs softly when she is asked that question by the Leeuwarder Courant. She says: “The funny thing is that I am confronted with my own prejudices. Sometimes you see a couple and your first impression is: a bit boring. And that they then turn out to have fascinating stories or have experienced adventures. The participants are of course always adventurous people. From different backgrounds and from all levels of society, but the common denominator is that they want to get the most out of life. Optimistic, joie de vivre, few obstacles on the road. Better to die a year earlier in the camper than two years longer at home behind the geraniums.”
The series ‘We Are Almost There’ can be seen every Tuesday at 9:20 PM on MAX on NPO 1.
