Marian Mudder lived with an anxiety disorder

Marian Mudder has harbored a secret for many years. In ‘Libelle’ she tells more about it: “On the outside you couldn’t see anything wrong with me, but I had an anxiety disorder that bothered me a lot. I was trembling in life, was always afraid, thought I wasn’t good enough. Only when I worked did I receive confirmation: you are fine. As a result, I was constantly stressed about whether I was doing my job well enough, and if I had no work for a while, whether I was good enough for the profession. The feeling that I was good the way I was was completely missing.”

“I got that from my environment. Which is very annoying, because it is always moving. One day you are praised, the next day you are thrown in the trash. That is why it is so important that you know who you are and that you believe you are worth it. I followed therapies for years. It wasn’t until I started receiving EFT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, that things started to move quickly. Finally, my fears and resulting behavior were addressed at the root.”
