Driven and development-oriented manager with expertise

You lead a team of professionals and are responsible for the team’s integral business operations. Together you take the next step towards a management organization that is able to realize the development task that lies ahead. You are responsible for the IT services to the organization. You know where the need lies and where further development and improvement is needed, so that users are optimally supported in the performance of their tasks.

You are responsible for drawing up and implementing the strategy for information provision and digitization that is in line with the development of the organization and social challenges. You are a member of the Management and Services MT and make an important contribution to the realization of common goals.

Further:

  • Are you able to manage change.
  • Do you know how to give space to employees by stepping in and out when necessary.
  • Do you know what it takes to be a good internal service provider and how to get there.
  • Do you have knowledge of information provision with a large number of applications and do you know what the trend is in their development.
  • You have an important role in the governance of the collaboration with our IT suppliers.
  • Are you a contract owner of various contracts and client of IT projects.

The team

There is a good foundation for taking the next step in the development of the team, consisting of 30 committed and enthusiastic employees. The team is responsible for tasks in the field of strategy & policy, information management, functional management, IT management, contract management and user support via the service desk. Services such as housing & hosting, technical management and digital workplace have recently been outsourced.

You bring this

As an experienced manager within a complex and dynamic organization, you have a clear vision of the development task of ICT, digital processes and data. You can easily switch between strategic, tactical and operational level and you are strong in terms of business and process. Above all, an integral thinker and trader, sensitive to politics and the environment. Your leadership is characterized as decisive, inspiring, connecting and coaching. You support your team and stimulate further development.

Further:

  • WO thinking and working level and a relevant education.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position.
  • Extensive experience with change management: able to connect and guide adoption processes of technologies, working methods and cultures.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of information management and the management of an associated organization and projects.
  • Experience with managing external parties and contract and supplier management.
  • Excellent management/executive level consulting skills.
  • Experience in a government or municipal environment is an advantage.

Good to know:

  • 36 hours a week.
  • Salary maximum €6,993 gross per month (scale 13). A labor market allowance is negotiable. The position will be valued again this year.
  • Appointment for one year, with a view to a permanent appointment.
  • Ample opportunities to work flexibly independent of time and place.
  • Laptop and smartphone to work hybrid.
  • Room for development, own initiative and independence are important to us.
