The police have arrested four men in connection with the discovery of firearms and ammunition in a business premises in Oisterwijk. One of the men had a gunshot wound to his hand.
On Friday evening around 9.15 pm, the police received a report that shots had been heard. The control room was also told that men were walking near the building on Nijverheidsweg.
Agents found a 31-year-old man from Oss, who had been shot in the hand. It is still unclear how that happened. He was taken to hospital and after his treatment he was arrested.
The 60-year-old tenant of the building has also been arrested, a man from Oisterwijk. Firearms and ammunition were found in the building. The police do not say how many guns or bullets are involved.
In the night, two more men were arrested on the A50 near Hoenderloo. They would have driven away from the business premises in Oisterwijk. It concerns a 36-year-old man from Schiedam and a 20-year-old man from Rotterdam. They’re all still stuck.
