Man seriously injured after shooting incident

Roosendaal – A 27-year-old man without a permanent place of residence was seriously injured in a shooting incident on the Diamantdijk on Sunday 23 April around 6.30 pm. The detective is investigating the case.

Police were called around 6:30 p.m. when local residents heard several shots. A house and a parked car were also hit. At least one car drove away after the incident. Several police units and the police helicopter started a search for the possible perpetrator(s) of the shooting. Shortly after the incident, a car was found on Boulevard Antverpia on the indication of witnesses that may have been involved in the case. A description was then also distributed of a man who had been seen with that car.

Signaling
It would be a dark-skinned man with a ring beard, he was wearing a black jacket and dark blue sweatpants. Have you seen the man? Then contact the police.

Victim
A 27-year-old man presented to the hospital with gunshot wounds on Sunday evening. He was immediately treated for his injuries, the man appears to be seriously injured. He will be heard at a later time. His role in the case is under investigation.
