Man killed in A28 accident

Amersfoort – In the night of Wednesday 1 to Thursday 2 November, a man from Bunschoten died in a single-vehicle accident. Two other men were injured. The police would like to get in touch with people who have seen something.

At around 2.20 am, the control room received a report that a car had driven into a ditch on the A28, which happened at exit 8 near Amersfoort. Officers immediately responded to the report and saw a car lying upside down in the ditch. Two victims were already out of the car at that time. They were both injured. It soon became clear that there was a third person in the car. A fire brigade diving team managed to free the man from the car, after which he was rushed to hospital. However, all help was of no avail. The 29-year-old man unfortunately died in hospital.

Witnesses wanted
