A man who collapsed unconscious near Van Der Madeweg metro station in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht on Friday died in hospital. The police reported this in a message. The man wandered across the street and appeared to have several injuries. The police have started an investigation into the cause of death and are taking various scenarios into account.
A taxi driver saw the man wandering around 10.45 am on Friday morning and collapsed near the bushes near Van der Madeweg metro station, at Entrada 600. The man died in hospital and appeared to have ‘necessary internal’ injuries.
The police want to find out what happened and have started an investigation into the cause of death. The investigation team is taking various scenarios into account and is calling on witnesses to come forward.
