The Hague – The police arrested a 25-year-old man from Amsterdam on Thursday morning, March 21. He is suspected of throwing a flaming object at the Israeli embassy.
Around 10.50 am the suspect threw a burning object from Johan de Wittlaan towards the Israeli embassy. The building was slightly damaged. No one was hurt. A 25-year-old man from Amsterdam was quickly arrested in the area. The suspect is in custody and is being interrogated.
Backpack
The police immediately started an investigation and cordoned off the area. In the area of Johan de Wittlaan, they found a backpack on the street. This was examined and seized for investigation.
