Hoogezand – The police are investigating a violent incident in a home on Stationsweg in Hoogezand, in which a 37-year-old man from Hoogezand was killed in the night of Thursday 8 to Friday 9 February. Shortly after finding the victim, the police arrested a 53-year-old man from Hoogezand. We take into account that a stabbing incident has occurred.
Around half past three we received a report of a deceased person in a residential unit in a building on Stationsweg. The police immediately started an investigation and an arrest quickly followed. The suspect is in custody and is being interrogated. Research must reveal what caused the violent incident and what exactly happened.
