Tilburg – A 30-year-old man from Waalwijk was seriously injured last night in a shooting in front of a house on Verdiplein. The victim was transported to hospital by ambulance. The police are conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
The police received a report of a shooting at Verdiplein on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 around 2:05 am. Local residents outside pointed out to the officers the building where shots were allegedly fired in the front yard. It was a terraced house. The victim, a son of the resident, was now in the home. Ambulance personnel were soon on site. They rushed the victim to a hospital. Officers are conducting an extensive neighborhood investigation. Detectives are checking relevant camera images.
