The episodes of the game show Waku Waku in which Tim den Besten would appear will no longer be broadcast this week. KRO-NCRV made that decision in close consultation with the NPO, the broadcaster reports. The presenter would be featured as a candidate in the final week – which has now been canceled in its entirety.
The move follows an article last week in which Den Besten is accused of identity fraud. “The latter is a subject within our youth programming that we regularly warn children about and report on,” the broadcaster writes in a statement, which was published after reporting from Yvonne Coldeweijer.
