'Koeman contacts Hartman: Feyenoord back can choose'

Ronald Koeman has personally sounded out Feyenoord defender Quilindschy Hartman. The 21-year-old left back has appeared on the radar of the Dutch national team, 1908.nl reports.

Hartman has dual nationality and was recently approached by Curaçao. Koeman now seems to want to put a stop to that. Whether Feyenoord’s youth product will receive an invitation to the Orange during the next international period will soon become clear. At the end of March, the European Championship qualifying matches with France and Gibraltar are scheduled.

Hartman is having his breakthrough this season in De Kuip, where he succeeds Tyrell Malacia. The wing defender fought in the base in coach Arne Slot’s team and played seventeen official matches this season. He was good for one goal and three assists.

The competition in the Dutch national team is fierce. Hartman competes with Malacia and Daley Blind, among others. Owen Wijndal, Bjorn Meijer, Patrick van Aanholt, Mitchel Bakker and Ian Maatsen are also in the picture with Koeman’s staff, 1908.nl knows.
