What are you going to do?
- For new projects, you ensure that project assignments are registered and approved.
- You organize the so-called capacity consultation with the departments involved within the municipality, collect the documents for this and make an action list of the agreements made.
- You explain to new employees (including project managers) how to use the software that the municipality uses to track capacity for projects.
- You advise on possible improvements in the software or working methods.
Job requirements

- The salary depends on experience and education and amounts to a maximum of €4,537 gross per month (scale 9) for a full-time appointment in a 36-hour working week (excluding 17.05% Individual Choice Budget).

Who are we?
The Process and Contract Management department is an enthusiastic and driven department and realizes the renewal of Haarlem and Zandvoort. The physical environment of Haarlem and Zandvoort is constantly developing. Land, areas and real estate are given a new purpose, neighborhoods and streets are redesigned. In Haarlem alone, 10,000 new homes will be built in the coming years. The realization of all this is in the hands of the project managers of the Project and Contract Management department. The department provides project management for virtually all area development, real estate and civil projects in Haarlem and Zandvoort, from large-scale housing projects and shopping centers with the development team, to civil projects such as squares, parks and streets with the civil team. The department carries out the projects from the start of a project with a start note to the actual implementation. This also includes administrative decision-making with consultation and participation procedures. Our work is done when the project has been completed to everyone’s satisfaction. Then we literally created something beautiful.
