As an ICT Service Desk Employee, you are able to work independently. Naturally, you have colleagues at the Service Square for collegial consultation. You enjoy helping colleagues and providing explanations, although not all colleagues have the same level of ICT knowledge. You are eager to learn, flexible and have strong communication skills. You know how to quickly understand a problem so that you are able to answer colleagues’ questions. You do this from a strong customer and service-oriented attitude. You can identify bottlenecks and give and receive feedback.

MBO level 3/4 working and thinking level, preferably you have completed an application management or similar course; you have experience with Microsoft Windows 10, Azure, Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), VMware, Avaya, ITIL, SAP, and Ivanti Workspace; you have the necessary professional knowledge and experience in the field of ICT (hardware & software).

In the position of ICT Service Desk Employee you are responsible for handling all ICT-related questions and/or reports from employees of primary city companies, we work from various locations in the city (Traction Road but also five district posts in the city). You accept questions/reports from colleagues who use the physical service desk, but also via telephone, e-mail or intranet. These are mainly questions about user support in the field of office automation such as login problems, hardware and software problems. Helping with reinstallations/configurations is also part of your job, as well as instructing users and providing support for applications specifically used by City Companies.

assist colleagues and help handle ICT-related disruptions and reports via the Service Portal and associated systems; answering questions/notifications by telephone/email; adequately register and handle questions and reports; proactively informing users; guiding colleagues in the use of new software and hardware; preparing reports on reports and disruptions; handling complaints.
