What are you going to do
We are looking for an ICT Administrator – Windows Server (36 hours per week) for the ICT sector of the Shared Service Center (SSC) at the municipality of Leeuwarden.

As an ICT Manager at the Shared Service Center (SSC), no day is the same and you learn something new every day. Together with a group of 55 enthusiastic colleagues, you ensure that we can offer a reliable, robust environment to our approximately 4,300 end users every day. With your knowledge you ensure that we can allow our colleagues at the SSC and those of the affiliated organizations to do their work properly.

As an IT administrator, you are concerned with the IT infrastructure in the Windows server field. You work closely with specialists and other colleagues within and outside the IT department to keep the infrastructure optimally available and up to date.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the availability, capacity and security of ICT infrastructure;
  • Preparing, implementing and processing changes to central IT facilities;
  • Resolving incidental, complex disruptions to central IT facilities;
  • Quality control of the available technical documentation, quotations and change proposals.

Who are you
As an IT Manager you have a well-developed sense of service and customer focus. You have good communication skills, have problem-solving skills and are able to plan and organize matters independently.

In addition to enjoying your work, we ask the following:

  • MBO ICT training focused on office automation;
  • You learn new things quickly and enjoy learning new things.
  • Experience with the Windows Server platform;
  • Experience with the following products/techniques is an advantage: SCCM, SCOM, VMware, Filesharing, Printing.

Within the SSC, the ICT sector is responsible for support, technical application management and management of the ICT infrastructure. You do this for the municipality of Leeuwarden and the partners of the SSC. The ICT sector consists of approximately 55 committed colleagues, dynamic, a pleasant team and development in professionalism are the concepts for the environment you find yourself in.

What do we offer
We offer a salary, depending on education and experience, of a minimum of €3,014 and a maximum of €4,244 (job scale 8, salary scale 1-1-2024 Collective Labor Agreement for Municipalities) gross per month for a 36-hour working week. This is a structural position within the team of technical application managers. We start with an annual contract, if the cooperation on both sides is satisfactory, we will extend this contract for an indefinite period.
