Information Management Team
The Information Management team consists of 25 employees and focuses on managing information. In addition, the team focuses on creating information through data management (BI). The team is part of the information provision of the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn, working closely with the other teams.

As an Information Management Team Leader you are responsible for managing, inspiring and developing a team of professionals. You play a crucial role in shaping and developing data-driven work and optimizing information management processes.

As an information management team leader, you are responsible for managing, inspiring and developing the team. The team is on the eve of further development, with a transition from implementation to management and from collecting data to creating information. You play a crucial role in shaping and further developing this team. You ensure that the team is put on the map within the municipality and that it is in line with the needs of the organization. You work for and together with your colleagues within the municipality.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

Inspiring and people-oriented leadership, in which employees are put in a position to perform their work for the organization as efficiently as possible; Promoting a positive and inclusive work culture focused on collaboration; Ensure the continuous development of employees through training and coaching; Identifying talent within the team and encouraging professional growth; Actively contribute to improving information processes (including record management and archiving), work processes and systems; Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to further develop data-driven working; Initiating innovative projects to make information more available and findable.

Who are we looking for?
You are an inspiring and people-oriented manager with preferably a background in business and/or public administration, information management or a related field; You have demonstrable work experience, preferably in a comparable context within the public sector; Excellent knowledge of information processes (including record management and archiving) and experience with (the implementation of) data-driven work; You know how to find the right balance between team results and demand from the organization; You have experience in managing a team and coaching to results. You have at least a HBO working and thinking level.

• Salary in scale 12 in accordance with the 2024 Collective Labor Agreement for Municipalities, max. €6,777 – based on 36 hours;
