What does this position entail?
This role is crucial for effectively managing information, which helps the organization operate more smoothly and adhere to the highest standards of information management. You keep colleagues informed of recent developments, including information security and privacy. You also provide practical support in processing and editing information. You advise on information management of existing and new applications where information is stored and on various sources, such as network drives, e-mail boxes and websites. You also ensure sustainable storage of information at various locations and provide support in making information accessible to both internal and external audiences. You actively seek connections with colleagues from your own department and from other departments.

What do we ask of you?

  • You have completed vocational training in the field of digital information provision, such as: Information Manager Course, Upcoming Record Manager Course or SOD I/II, Digital Information Records Manager (RMDI).
  • Are you willing to develop yourself further and take training courses?
  • An extensive insight into work processes and digital information flows.
  • Excellent communication skills to inform, support and advise employees.
  • The ability to increase awareness within the organization.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail to ensure the quality of information management.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to promote change when necessary.

Who are we as a SED organization?
The SED organization arose from the official merger of the municipalities of Stede Broec, Enkhuizen and Drechterland. With approximately 450 colleagues, we provide support for the colleges and services in the three municipalities. A versatile and interesting organization where we alternately work for, for example, a historic city center, rural countryside or a new housing estate. We respond to changes in society, the role of the government in this and the call from society for transparency. In this way we work together to create a pleasant and safe living, working and living environment for our residents and entrepreneurs.

Where do you end up?
As an Information Management employee you fall under the Information department. A department with approximately 27 colleagues, who are jointly responsible for activities in the field of Information Management, Management and functional application management. The ambition is to further develop the department to achieve even better results. Of course we act from confidentiality and integrity.
