Your mission

Your first challenge is to ensure that our colleagues have access to the right data 24/7 and that this data is used smartly. The nice thing is that you can not only devise the policy on data management and application management, but also implement it. Of course you don’t do this alone; you work together with colleagues and partners for this.

You make an inventory of what data is available within our municipality and you record that in an architecture. To ensure that your plans land smoothly in the organization, you make agreements about, for example, security, distribution and optimal data management. You also play an important role in monitoring the quality of data. You do this by detecting errors in the exchange of data and mutual deviations.

In addition to this cool job, you will work on other interesting issues in the field of information management. Think of introducing Microsoft 365 as part of the modern desktop. We are therefore looking for a broadly oriented consultant who likes to take on new challenges.

What are you going to do next?

  • you provide solicited and unsolicited advice in the field of information management in general and data management in particular;
  • you make an important contribution to the preparation of the information policy plan;
  • Then, together with the team, you ensure the implementation of the information policy plan, by leading or participating in projects, for example purchasing and implementing applications;
  • you support application and data managers in performing their data management tasks;
  • you follow technological developments such as APIs, Linked Data, Common Ground and the Federative Data System.

Who are you going to work with?

You will be working in the Information Management team, which consists of 12 colleagues. The team is a colorful group of consultants and application and data managers from information management, information security, geo-information, processes and business intelligence. We are a fun and ambitious team and we are there for each other.

Who are you?

You have a broad interest in all aspects of information management and data management in particular makes your heart beat faster. You like to dive into something completely, but at the same time you can zoom out well to make the translation into advice and policy. You have an eye for the wishes of colleagues and come up with solutions where necessary. You also recognize bottlenecks in processes and you quickly see how these can be solved. You come up with innovative ideas and know how to convey them in a convincing and understandable way. In this way you contribute to the development of information provision.

You also have:

  • minimum HBO working and thinking level and preferably a completed training in business administration or technical computer science;
  • experience with or a preference for information management;
  • preferably experience with architectures, key registers, BISL, ETL and SQL.

  • a salary of a maximum of €5,021.00 gross per month based on 36 hours (scale 10A). A starting scale may apply;
  • an ABP optional pension (of which we pay part);
  • an employment contract for 12 months, which we are happy to convert into a permanent contract if we are satisfied;
  • an individual choice budget of 17.05% of your gross monthly salary, which you can spend as you see fit, for example on extra salary, holidays or training;
  • excellent fringe benefits, such as paid parental leave and group health insurance;
