Information Architect – IT job in Netherlands

How does this sound to you? You ensure that the information flows within the municipality of Goes are visible and run even better. This is about current information, but also about preserving it. You ensure that data is processed correctly and at the right time. You make it possible as an information architect at the Municipality of Goes.

You do it

At the start of the day you will have an intake interview at the office with the environmental law project leader about the various new information flows. You will then have a meeting with your direct colleagues from the DIV team about your ideas to bring our information management under control and you will give a presentation to the management team about the vision on information management for the next 5 years.

After lunch with your colleagues, you go home to further work out all the agreements. The next day you work from home and have a few meetings via Teams. Just a glimpse into your agenda as an information architect.

More concrete? You spend 32 – 36 hours a week working on:

• Drawing up and following up on project plans, impact analyses, etc.;
• Provide guidance in exporting and organizing digital archives and advise on the process of transfer to the e-depot;
• Monitor the implementation of the improvement actions from the KPI (critical performance indicators) report on horizontal accountability of the Archives Act;
• Advising and informing the board, management and employees in the field of information and archiving
• Initiating and participating in (complex) projects.
