What are you going to do
The ICT department of the Shared Service Center Leeuwarden of the municipality of Leeuwarden is looking for an ICT Service Desk Employee (36 hours per week).

The Service Desk of the ICT department acts as a central source of information for the entire Shared Service Center, whereby a distinction can be made between employees specialized in ICT and employees who provide support for the other disciplines. The support is based on the click-call-face principle. As an ICT Service Desk Employee, you are the first point of contact for questions and reports from the employees of the municipality of Leeuwarden and the external organizations to which ICT services are provided. You not only provide support in the field of technical IT management, but also process reports in the field of functional application management, both within and outside the municipality of Leeuwarden. We work with products such as Topdesk, Centric applications, Citrix Xenapp, VMware ESX, Microsoft App-V, Ivanti Workspace Control and Exchange.

Your task package consists of:

  • Supporting users of ICT facilities and solving problems in the field of hardware and software;
  • Registering and monitoring notifications, changes and service requests;
  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support in the management of decentralized ICT facilities.

Who are you
Being able to switch quickly between different customers, problem-solving skills, the art of asking questions and well-developed empathy are a requirement. A sense of service and customer focus is in your DNA. You are stress-resistant and a valuable colleague, because you work independently and dare to spar with your (immediate) colleagues when necessary.

We also ask you the following:

  • HBO work and thinking level obtained through training or experience;
  • A few years of relevant work experience within (larger) IT environment(s) as a Service Desk Employee;
  • You have demonstrable experience with the following products: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 2010, 2016, 365;
  • You have communication skills;
  • You are familiar with the ITIL principles.

Competences:

  • Analytical skills.

The Shared Service Center of the municipality of Leeuwarden supports the work of the board and the civil service. Within the Service Center, the ICT service team is responsible for technical application management and infrastructure management, both for Leeuwarden and neighboring municipalities. What do we offer
We are looking for a new colleague for this structural position. As a starting point, we start with a six-month contract, with the intention of extending this with permanent employment. We offer a salary, depending on education and experience, of a minimum of €3,014 and a maximum of €4,244 (job scale 8, salary scale 1-1-2024 Collective Labor Agreement for Municipalities) gross per month for a 36-hour working week. An additional attractive condition is the ability to make use of 17.05% Individual Choice Budget (IKB) on top of the gross annual salary.
