What are you going to do
The Functional Management team of the Information Management department of the Municipality of Leeuwarden is looking for a Hyperautomation – RPA developer (32-36 hours).

What are you going to do

In the past year, several robots have been built and put into use within the municipality to perform repetitive activities (Robotic Process Automation). The success of these robots has led the municipality of Leeuwarden to further focus on the structural development of low code applications, including RPA, in the coming years. To give substance to this, the existing “RPA team” is being expanded and transformed into a Hyperautomation team. We are looking for a new colleague to expand this team.

As a Hyperautomation – RPA Developer, your activities and tasks consist of:

  • Analyzing processes;
  • Prepare and maintain design documentation;
  • Developing and managing softbots;
  • Developing no code / low code software (eg with UiPath, Power Apps, OpenForms and Valtimo);
  • Managing no code / low code software.

Who are you
Low code / no code (which includes RPA) is a relatively new development in municipal land. We are therefore looking for an enterprising colleague who is not afraid to walk untrodden roads.

You also bring the following:

  • You have HBO working and thinking level;
  • You have the ambition to keep developing and to keep learning;
  • You are flexible and can work independently in a scrum team;
  • You are pre-eminently a team player;
  • You quickly understand processes;
  • You have excellent communication skills;
  • You have knowledge of and affinity with ICT. You will have to quickly find your way in our robotization software (UiPath);
  • Some experience with UiPath is a bonus;
  • Some experience with programming, setting up applications, creating macros, etc. is a bonus;

Knowledge of the processes within the municipality is an advantage.

You will work at the Information Management (IM) department, specifically the functional management team of the Shared Service Center (SSC). You are part of a scrum team. This team includes the developers and managers in the field of no code / low code (including RPA), a business analyst, a representative of the business for which we develop the software and a functional manager from the domain of the business.

What do we offer
We offer a salary, depending on education and experience, of a maximum of €4,208 gross per month for a 36-hour working week (job scale 9, salary scale 1-4-2022 Cao Municipalities). We offer an annual contract with the intention of extending this contract indefinitely.
