Constipated

It concerns a quantity of 543 kilos of cocaine, hidden between a load of scrap, in a container originating from Bonaire. It arrived in Rotterdam on 17 June and had a company in Oud-Gastel as its destination. This company does not seem to have anything to do with the smuggling, the Public Prosecution Service reported on Wednesday evening.

Research

The HARC team, a partnership between Customs, FIOD, Seaport Police and the Public Prosecution Service in Rotterdam, is continuing to investigate the case.

The drugs have now been destroyed.
