Lee Towers has had quite a bit to deal with lately. Beguin this year he broke his hip, recently he broke his hand. Still, Lee remains positive. How does he do that? The Rotterdam go-getter tells Party: “I came onto the stage of Rotterdam Ahoy with my walker at the beginning of April, during the Wannebiezz concert, and I hadn’t even sung before the roof came off! For me that was a turning point, when I thought: yes, people are just happy that you are there. You actually find it annoying to come up with a walker, but eventually you sit on a stool, after which the walker is removed, and what needs to be done happens. That’s the magic, you know. I am happy that the public still loves me and adores me.”
