The Hague – An explosion occurred in an apartment complex on the Zuidwal during the night of Friday 10 to Saturday 11 November. The police are investigating the case and would like to contact witnesses.
At around 3:30 am, the emergency services received a report of a fire in the apartment complex. Several residents heard a loud bang, after which the building filled with smoke.
On site it turned out that an explosion had occurred in a hall of the building. No one was injured. However, the building was damaged and the residents of 24 homes had to temporarily leave their homes.
