In his biography, Hans Klok opens a book about celebrities such as André van Duin, Johnny de Mol, Gerard Joling and Katja Schuurman. The illusionist says he has not had any negative reactions. Hans tells Party: “I could have said a lot more. It’s a bit of a gentlemen’s agreement that you keep your mouth shut about that.”
Hans tells Party that the book almost didn’t happen: “At first I thought it was too much of an honor and I actually didn’t want it at all, but now I’m quite proud of it. It’s a bit of a rough book. Nothing is made more beautiful than it is. And you also forget a lot of stories that afterwards you think: I should have included that too. So maybe there will be a sequel one day.”
