Top handball star Estavana Polman makes her debut this year as a TV presenter. She will take on the role of tour guide in the new series of Beter Laat Dan Nooit on SBS6.
Polman follows in the footsteps of Olcay Gulsen and Katja Schuurman, who were tour guides in the first two seasons broadcast on RTL. In the new series, another group of elderly celebrities travel together. Earlier this week it was announced that Edwin Rutten (80), Ad Visser (76), Frits Barend (76) and Henny Huisman (71) are participating.
“I think it’s great to go on a trip with these special men and youth idols of many Dutch people and to get to know them better,” says the thirty-year-old girlfriend of former football player Rafael van der Vaart against De Telegraaf.
“I am very much looking forward to the adventures we will have and the conversations that will ensue. Hopefully I can keep up with the outspoken foursome. One thing I know for sure is that it will be an unforgettable journey.”
In 2018 and 2020, Gerard Cox, Peter Faber, Barrie Stevens and Willibrord Frequin traveled together.
