Group of troublemakers abuses Tilburg residents

Tilburg – A 47-year-old Tilburg citizen was seriously injured on Friday evening when he was beaten up by a group of about 10 troublemakers. Witnesses saw that the group was clearly looking for a fight. The police are looking for witnesses.

Around 9:30 p.m., a witness saw a number of people arriving in a small gray car at the Heuvelring in Tilburg. This car is parked near the bus shelter in front of the cinema. When a few more men join them a little later, a group of about 10 to 12 people is formed who, according to the witness, are clearly looking for a fight. The 47-year-old Tilburg fell victim to this around 10:45 p.m. He is beaten up so badly that he initially lies motionless and bleeding on the ground. After this abuse, the group splits up. One part runs towards 013 and another part towards Pieter Vreedeplein. Emergency first aiders find it difficult to regain consciousness. He was therefore quickly taken to the hospital by ambulance, where he had to receive stitches in his face, among other things. The police are looking for camera images or witnesses to this incident. Can you help with that? Then call 0900-8844.
