At the end of May it is time for Toppers in Concert again. Last year, Gerard Joling left an empty seat in the Johan Cruijff ArenA for his deceased mother Janny, but he does not plan to do that now. Gerard tells Party: “I have to accept that my mother is no longer here and there are plenty of people you can say hello to during Toppers in Concert. But it is a bit strange sometimes, because my mother is there so often
been and not anymore. That is a sad loss, but fortunately I have experienced many wonderful moments with her.”
