(Functional) Application Managers

32 – 36 hours a week

Who we are

ICT IJsselgemeenten is a professional ICT service provider for the municipalities of Capelle- and Krimpen aan den IJssel, the Ingenieurs Bureau Krimpenerwaard and IJsselgemeten. Together these organizations account for 1400 users. As ICT IJsselgemeente we are responsible for the ICT infrastructure, information security, information management, functional management, technical management and the service desk. We have one goal in doing so. A well-functioning ICT facility and therefore a satisfied customer.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a new colleague who will work as a (Functional) application manager. Together with a colleague you will give substance to the management of one or more of the information systems.

We are looking for someone who is not afraid to make mistakes and where necessary asks for help if you are unable to come to a solution together. Possibly by engaging the supplier(s). Are you someone with a drive that can hardly be tamed, someone who has fire in their eyes, can deal with people well and above all wants to work hard and fun, please respond!

Experience in a similar position is an advantage but not necessary. Experience in positions in which the desired characteristics and skills are shown is. If you would like to learn and progress, we would also like to get in touch with you.

The function in outline

• Drawing up requirements and functional specifications for information systems based on user wishes, in order to then organize them optimally and efficiently.
• Resolving, following up and documenting incidents related to the information system and/or information provision.
• Managing and assigning usage rights.
• Advising on the consequences of release changes.
• Participating in expert groups, user associations and other relevant consultative bodies.
• Managing, prioritizing and processing change requests.
• Planning and executing technical and functional tests, and supporting users with acceptance testing.

We ask

• At least a completed MBO4 education or an experience comparable to HBO (motivation and commitment are more important to us than diplomas).

• Analytical insight and the ability to quickly make connections between error and cause.
• Being able to work in a structured way.

• Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends.

A chance

We are really looking for someone with commitment and drive. If you now think that you are that person, but that you do not yet have sufficient comparable work experience, but you do have an affinity with ICT, then convince us of your capabilities in your letter. We are certainly willing to give you a chance. We can teach you the applications, but commitment and motivation cannot.

We offer

Depending on education and experience, we scale you. We know three scale divisions for this function. A junior manager is valued in scale 7 (min €2,545, max €3,612). A medior manager is valued in scale 8 (min €2,878, max €4,052). And a senior manager is valued in scale 9 (min €3,167, max €4,537). These amounts are based on a 36-hour working week. Classification and grading obviously depend on education and experience.

In addition, you have your own control over the use of 17.05% of the gross annual salary as an Individual Choice Budget. And of course there are various development facilities in the form of workshops, courses and tastings. We work from a modern office with flexible workplaces in the center of Capelle aan den IJssel and we have excellent facilities for working from home. There is free parking and the accessibility by public transport is excellent.
