The Netherlands – Minh Nghia Vuong – the suspect of the shooting incident on 21 January in Zwijndrecht – is still a fugitive. In Opsporing Requested on February 21, the police ask people who know something about Vuong’s whereabouts to report. In this case, a reward of 30,000 euros is available for the golden tip.

Two women were shot in the shooting incident at the Walburg shopping center in Zwijndrecht. It concerned Vuong’s ex-partner and her mother. The mother died; the ex-partner is still seriously injured in the hospital. It is possible that the fugitive shooter has received and is still receiving help to evade the police. We hope that these helpers will think again when they hear the story of the daughter and sister of the victims in Opsporing Requested.

Vuong’s nickname is Lucky. The man has a Vietnamese background, is about 1.70 meters tall, speaks good Dutch and has a scar under his left eyebrow.
It could be that he has changed his appearance in the past month or that he is disguising himself. It is known that he regularly wears glasses.

Do not approach Vuong yourself

If you think you see the suspect somewhere, do not approach him yourself. The man is firearms dangerous and unpredictable. In that case, call the police immediately; this can be done via 112.

Sharing information

There must be people who can tell more about where Vuong is. If someone knows where he or she is staying, he or she can confidentially contact the National Intelligence Team (TNI) on 088 661 77 34.
Your data will never reach the suspect or his lawyer via the TNI, while you as a tipster can claim the reward of 30,000 euros. You can also share via 0800-6070 and or anonymously via Meld Misdaad Anoniem on 0800-7000.
