On Sunday, the police arrested a 42-year-old German at a campsite in Lochem at the request of the Fugitive Active Search Team Belgium. The man was sentenced to ten years in prison in a court in Belgium in 2022 and had been internationally arrested since December 2022. The German was a manager at the motorcycle clubs Satudarah and No Surrender. Research by Crimesite shows that it is 42-year-old Elhassan A.
DSI
The Fugitive Active Search Team Netherlands (FASTNL) of the National Unit started an investigation, after receiving information from FAST Belgium, into the whereabouts of the German. There was a suspicion that he might be in the Netherlands. The investigation led to a campsite in Lochem where the man was staying. The Special Interventions Service (DSI) arrested the man because he is known to be dangerous with firearms.
Human trafficking
Elhassan A. was sentenced by the court in Brussels to six years in prison at the end of 2022 for participation in a criminal organization, human trafficking, forced prostitution and rape. In June 2022, he was also sentenced to four years in prison by the court in Antwerp for the possession of automatic weapons and ammunition. The crimes were committed in both Belgium and Germany.
A. is in custody and the Amsterdam court will decide on his extradition to Belgium, the police report.
No Surrender
A. was a member of motorcycle club Satudarah in the past and later joined No Surrender. He was already a fugitive before the court in Belgium ruled against him and other No Surrender members in June 2022.
