Almere – On Tuesday afternoon, January 30, the police arrested a 17-year-old boy from Amsterdam. He is suspected of involvement in causing the explosion at a house in the gallery flat at Bolacaciahof on December 27, 2023.
Multiple explosions
The explosion at the Bolacaciahof was one of several explosions that took place in Almere in December. Based on a large-scale investigation, the police suspect that there is a possible connection between the explosions. The research also makes a link with other incidents in the past period, such as a violent incident in a home on Borneostraat on Thursday, November 9, 2023.
In the past period, a 33-year-old man from Rotterdam, a 16-year-old boy from Almere and a 16-year-old boy from Amsterdam were arrested for involvement in one of the explosions in Almere. The investigation continues and the police have not ruled out multiple arrests.
