Four suspects arrested for brutal street robbery

Almere – The police have arrested four boys aged 13, 14, 16 and 17 on suspicion of robbing a 15-year-old boy from Almere in the Henry Moorestraat area last Monday, March 13. Two of the four suspects have been brought before the examining magistrate. The other two suspects have been released. All four are still suspects in this case.

On Monday afternoon around 5 p.m., the victim and his friend walked home together. They have just come from the supermarket on the Juan Grisstraat. When they are in the Henry Moorestraat, they are suddenly attacked by four young boys. One of the perpetrators then seriously threatened the victim. The victim’s friend manages to flee in time, but the victim has to hand over his shoes and bag to the group. The victim is very shocked.

Immediately after the incident, the police launched a search and arrested two suspects. Camera images from the neighborhood and from the supermarket enabled the police to arrest the two other suspects on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 March. It concerns four young boys. Three of the four suspects are from Almere and one of the suspects is staying in Zeist.
