Helmond – The police arrested four minor suspects for a sex crime in the Burgemeester Geukerspark in Helmond on Tuesday, March 5. One of them was released yesterday.
That sexual offense was committed on Saturday, December 16, 2023 around 4:00 am. The victim was a 32-year-old woman. Three young men were previously arrested for this, but investigation did not reveal that they were involved in the case.
Arrests
The police investigation then continued unabated and eventually led to the 4 suspects who were arrested on Tuesday morning. These are three 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy from the municipalities of Tilburg, Waalwijk and Dronten. One 17-year-old boy has now been released. The other three are suspected of involvement in the sex crime. Further research will reveal what their exact roles were. They are in custody for further investigation and will be brought before the examining magistrate later today.
