The police arrested five suspects after a shooting at a snack bar in Amsterdam on Wednesday evening. She also confiscated a firearm. This happened after a fight, in which a victim was slightly injured.

Shot
The shooting incident took place on Wednesday evening around 8:20 PM, at a snack bar on Kruitbergstraat in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. After a conflict in the snack bar, a shot was fired outside, the police said on Thursday.
Fight
At the scene it turned out that a customer in the snack bar had gotten into a conflict with two other men, police said. ‘The men attacked the customer immediately upon entering and a fight broke out. At one point the men fled outside and there was a loud bang. One of the men fired a shot at a window of the snack bar and the two then fled.’
Arrested
The police immediately started an investigation and quickly discovered that the men had entered a house on Kikkenstein. The SWAT team entered this house and arrested five suspects. Among these suspects – all men between 16 and 18 years old from Amsterdam – is probably the shooter. A firearm was also found in the home during a search and was seized.
The role of all suspects and what exactly happened is being further investigated by the police. The victim was slightly injured by the fight in the snack bar, but no injuries were caused by the shooting.
