The police arrested five underage suspects from Zeist and Driebergen on Monday on suspicion of involvement in two explosions in Zeist. The explosions at two homes in Zeist were caused by heavy fireworks.
Cobras
Two young people were arrested on suspicion of placing a Cobra at the front door of a house in Zeist and three minors were arrested on suspicion of placing a Cobra at another address in Zeist.
Four minors come from Zeist and one from Driebergen. The five suspects probably all know each other, according to the police. The five minors were arrested at the same time.
Conflict
According to the police, an argument between two groups of young people in Zeist is playing in the background. When the explosions took place and what the exact ages of the suspects are, the police do not report.
