The police arrested five suspects on Saturday night after a house shooting on Kerkhoflaan in Rotterdam-Crooswijk. Because no one was present in the home, no injuries were reported.
Around 4 a.m. a report came in that shots were fired at a house on Kerkhoflaan. After the shooting, two men fled in the direction of the cemetery. Officers responded quickly and stopped a driver with four passengers in a car.
Because the officers also saw a firearm in the car, the five suspects in the vehicle were arrested using a Dangerous Suspects Approach Technique (BTGV). This is a technique in which the police aim firearms at a suspect.
The suspects are five men aged 19, 20, 21, 23 and 35 from Schiedam.
