‘First Premier League club approaches Slot and offers Feyenoord millions’

Transfer news from England: Crystal Palace has a concrete interest in Arne Slot. At least, that’s what the tabloid The Mirror reports. His management and Feyenoord would have already been approached.

It’s no secret that Slot is very popular in the Premier League: this week The Times reported that Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are in the market. Crystal Palace would also have made the interest concrete by now, it sounds from England.

Dougie Freedman, sporting director of Crystal Palace, has contacted Slot management, according to The Mirror, to ask if he might be open to a move to Selhurst Park. He must succeed Roy Hodgson from the summer. The 75-year-old manager looks set to keep Crystal Palace in the Premier League following the sacking of Patrick Vieira.

Not only the management of Slot, but also Feyenoord would have received a message from the London club. However, a so-called compensation package worth around 5.6 million euros was not enough to get the Rotterdammers thinking. Slot will be stuck in De Kuip for another two years.
