The Hague – The police are looking for people who have more information about an explosion at a house on Hackfortstraat. There, in the night of Monday 4 to Tuesday 5 September, the facade was severely damaged when fireworks were probably detonated.

The resident of the building was startled around 2:50 am when he heard a huge bang at the front of his home. The impact shattered the windows and dislocated the front door and window frame. No one was injured.

CCTV footage showed that a light-skinned boy, dressed in a black tracksuit with a hood and black sneakers, placed something at the front door, which then exploded. The suspect approached from the direction of Middachtenweg and Wildenborghstraat and had fled in the opposite direction.
