PSV officially strengthened itself on Thursday with fifteen-year-old Ayodele Thomas. The talented attacker comes over from Feyenoord’s youth academy, says Rik Elfrink.
Elfrink, who follows PSV for the Eindhovens Dagblad, announced Thomas’ upcoming transfer on Thursday afternoon. He is reportedly signing a three-year contract with the people of Eindhoven.
‘An almost 16-year-old attacker, who comes over from Feyenoord. Previously medically approved. It is now complete,’ says Elfrink. Both Feyenoord and PSV have not yet officially confirmed the transfer.

The Twitter account Feyenoord Youth Watcher indicates the upcoming switch, which seems to have arisen after a conflict between Thomas and his trainers at Feyenoord O16, including Robin van Persie. ‘Had a conflict with trainers and was kicked out of the 016’, it can be read. “Talent player, but did not bring what Van Persie and Pinas (Brian, ed.) demand.”
explanation:
– Was in the clinch with trainers and was removed from the O16 selection
– Talented player, but did not bring what Van Persie and Pinas demand.
– PSV already followed him in the U13 in Almere, but he then opted for Feyenoord.
– Generous compensation. Great solution. https://t.co/LSkO8nu01T— Feyenoord Youth Watcher (@Varkenoordfan) May 4, 2023
