Fatal stabbing in Antwerp: seven suspects released, perpetrator missing

The Belgian investigating judge on Monday released seven suspects who were arrested on Saturday night after a stabbing in Antwerp in which a 20-year-old Dutch man died. The perpetrator of the fatal stabbing is still on the run. This is what the Gazet van Antwerpen writes.

Massive brawl

20-year-old Mohsin from Rotterdam died on Saturday night during a stabbing in front of the Ikon discotheque at the Straatsburgdok in Antwerp. This happened during a massive brawl that took place around 5 a.m. A 25-year-old Dutchman was seriously injured, but his life is out of danger.

Interrogation

Seven men have been arrested for questioning, including the 25-year-old Dutchman who was injured. They are all now free. Most people in their twenties who were arrested for questioning are Dutch.

The perpetrator has not yet been arrested. The police continue to investigate him.
