Steiner sees a worrying problem at Haas: ‘Have to find a solution for that’

In conversation with Motorsportweek, Guenther Steiner was not pleased with his team’s performance. “Quite a disappointing result today, we just couldn’t keep the tires alive,” said Haas’ team boss after the Barcelona Grand Prix, in which de Haas wore the tires out from under the car and had to make three pit stops. “We made one pit stop more than the rest, but even if we hadn’t stopped, we would have slowed down and still have finished there. We have to go back to the drawing board and try to find a solution for our tire wear.’

Marko shows extensive interest in Alonso pupil: ‘Follow him for a while’

The Formula 3 driver is part of the team under the management of Fernando Alonso and managed to win the sprint race in Monaco and a week later the driver was the winner of the feature race in his home country. Aston Martin comes with updates in Canada to make a big step

Aston Martin team boss Mike Krack confirms that the British racing stable will come with an update in Canada. The results of the Spanish Grand Prix were somewhat disappointing, although that was not entirely due to the car, thinks Krack. Still, the team will heed the push for updates from Fernando Alonso, who saw Mercedes doing quite well with the new W14 in Barcelona. “We have to look at why we observed such a huge difference in performance at certain moments in the race,” says the Luxembourger in conversation with the Dutch branch of Motorsport.com. “Something is coming in Canada, one step,” Krack confirms, after which he keeps his lips tight.

Viaplay sees CEO leave due to negative results

The streaming service Viaplay sees its CEO, Anders Jensen, leave. Jensen decided to leave the company due to disappointing results. In the Netherlands, Viaplay broadcasts, among other things, several football competitions, darts and Formula 1. The Viaplay Group had to lower its expectations following a deterioration in market conditions. The outlook for the markets in which we operate has changed significantly and at a very rapid pace, and the implementation of cost-cutting programs has not adequately mitigated the effects of these circumstances. Jorgen Madsen Lindemann, former CEO of Viaplay’s former parent company, will take over Jensen’s duties.
