Porch
An explosion was reported to the police at around 10:30 PM at a house in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. A fire that then broke out was quickly extinguished by the fire brigade. Around 11 p.m. an explosive device exploded in the porch of an apartment building in Weesp.
People from the police Explosives Reconnaissance Team investigated both explosions. Remains of the explosive have been taken for examination.
Long street
In Winschoten, a building on Langestraat in the center was the target of an attack with an explosive around 2:10 am. On Saturday morning there was an explosion in the same street caused by an explosive device. There may be a connection between these explosions and other violent incidents in Winschoten, Oude Pekela and Groningen. The police have deployed a team of more than twenty detectives to investigate the violence.
Breda
A window was smashed at a home in Breda-West during the night from Monday to Tuesday and then something flammable was thrown inside, the police said. A fire broke out and residents fled into the streets. One of them suffered minor burns.
It happened around 3:40 am on Scheldestraat. The fire brigade extinguished the fire.
On Sunday evening, heavy fireworks were set off at a house on Passendalestraat in Breda-Noord. It is not known whether there is a relationship between the two incidents.
