Two explosions took place in Wateringen and The Hague on Thursday night. It is being investigated whether the explosions are related.
Wateringen
The first explosion went off around 2:45 am at a house on Prins Clausstraat in Wateringen, about 7 kilometers from The Hague. The explosion caused a small fire. The front of the house was damaged.
A resident was transported to hospital for smoke inhalation for evaluation.
Law firm
Three quarters of an hour later, around 3:30 am, an explosion occurred at a law firm on Buitenom in The Hague. The explosion caused a fire at the front of the law firm. The facade and front door were damaged. When officers arrived at the crime scene, they no longer found a suspect.
The police are investigating both cases. It is not yet known whether there is a connection between the two explosions.
