Explosion on free-standing ATM

On Sunday, May 14, 2023 at 3:50 a.m., the first reports will be received at the Operational Center of the emergency services. Several witnesses reported hearing multiple loud bangs. Some witnesses report that the freestanding ATM has been completely destroyed. In any case, they see two men walking. A short time later, a dark car speeds away in the direction of Middelbeers.

Research

Several police units, from different corps, are sent to look out for the dark car. Intersections in the area will be cordoned off. Unfortunately, the car is no longer found. Fire and police arrive at the wrecked machine. The area around the machine is cordoned off due to a possible explosion hazard. Explosives specialists from the police start an investigation and in turn alert the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service. After he has given the signal safely, a tactical and forensic investigation can start. Witnesses are heard and traces are secured.
