In Rotterdam South there was an explosion in the night from Monday to Tuesday at a house in the Charlois district. That happened at 04.00 on the Urkersingel. No one was injured in the blast, according to police.
Some windows were broken. It was probably a home-made explosive made of heavy fireworks. No specialists from the Defense Explosives Service (EOD) came to the scene. No information has been released about the perpetrator or perpetrators. At the end of August there had already been 117 explosions at buildings in Rotterdam.
Last night a house in Eindhoven was shot at with a firearm. The shots fell around 01.15 on the Achelstraat. A family lives there that was at home in the house at the time of the shots. But no one was injured. Nothing has been revealed about the perpetrator.
