Alkmaar – An explosion was probably caused by heavy fireworks at a house in Alkmaar on Thursday evening around 11:25 p.m. This happened on Lekstraat.
A loud bang caused damage to the front door of the house. After the explosion, a local resident saw someone running away. The residents were not at home during the explosion. No one was injured.
In November 2022, the same house was shot at by an unknown person. The police are of course investigating whether there is a connection between the two incidents.
