Rotterdam – On the Crooswijkseweg, an explosive went off at a catering business on Sunday, April 30. Fortunately no one was injured. The police are investigating.

Local residents were startled by loud bangs around 2:30 am. It turned out that an explosive had gone off. Fortunately no one was injured. After the explosion, witnesses saw a boy running away over the Boezemsingel. This boy would be dressed in dark. The police conducted an investigation on the spot. Among others, the explosives reconnaissance team (TEV) and the Forensic Investigation were present.
Looking for camera footage
Witnesses and camera images are very welcome for the investigation into the explosion. If you have access to a doorbell camera, dash cam or security camera in these streets or surrounding streets and if you see something suspicious on it around 02:30 am, please contact the police on 0900-8844 or leave the images via the tip form below.
