Explosion at Amsterdam building with camera surveillance

An explosion occurred at a house on Zeeburgerdijk in Amsterdam East on the night of Monday to Tuesday, where there has been camera surveillance for more than a month. This was instituted after previous incidents. The door was destroyed during the impact, according to AT5.

Fire brigade

The explosion happened around 12:45 am. The fire brigade extinguished a small fire at the front door. An explosives expert from the police conducted an investigation.

On March 17, there was an explosion at the same house.

Police have no trace of the suspect in last night’s explosion.

Mayor Femke Halsema of Amsterdam has installed camera surveillance in the Notarisappelstraat in Amsterdam-Noord. There was an explosion at the front door of a building in that street on Wednesday, April 24.

Two suspects in that case were arrested on the evening of the explosion.
